“Michelin starred Angler on the 7th floor of South Place Hotel is well known for its focus on quality fish and seafood. Head Chef Gary Foulkes has created a seven-course tasting menu for Valentine’s Day. Dishes include Cornish mackerel tartare with oyster cream; Dorset crab with avocado, wasabi and pomelo; Cornish turbot with Scottish langoustine, parsley root and chanterelles; and Yorkshire rhubarb with Iranian pistachio cream, sablé Breton and ginger beer. The menu costs £145pp with an optional wine flight for £80. Also, at South Place Chop House, you can enjoy a three-course meal with a glass of Nyetimber and truffles to finish for £60pp, or head for the Mystical Garden for an interactive St Germain cocktail class.”
